KLDCS STUDENT DRESS CODE - Clothing must cover at least half of the shoulder and the entire body trunk.
- Skirts/shorts are to be no shorter than mid-thigh.
- Backpacks, outdoor clothing, winter jacks / coats must be kept in lockers.
- No head coverings, such as hats and hooded sweatshirts will be permitted to be worn in the school, unless related to safety/health issues.
- Clothing with unacceptable messages of violence, racism, sexism or unacceptable messages for the age of the school population must not be worn.
- For security reasons, no cell phones, pagers, MP3 players, or disc-mans are permitted in the school, unless special permission has been granted.
Reason(s): - How you dress reflects how you feel about yourself and may influence how others treat you.
Result(s) of Infractions: - Students whose clothing is inappropriate will be asked to change.
- Parent/guardian may be contacted.
- You may be referred to the Vice-Principal.
