BUSES

Busing is provided for those students who live a distance from the school. Only for emergency purposes will students be allowed to ride buses to which they have not been assigned.

• In order for students to ride a bus to which they have not been assigned, permission must be granted through the office or the Principal.
• Requests must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
• A note from the parent making the request, indicating the reason for the request, as well as a note from the receiving parent indicating the student has permission to visit must be submitted to the Attendance Office. Only then will the request be considered.

Students should not assume permission will automatically be granted. This privilege is not available to students under suspension. Transportation to and from the school is a privilege provided by District School Board Ontario North East. Students traveling by bus should be familiar with the regulations.
